Our Trip To California

This weekend Craig, Liam, and I went on a trip to the bay area to visit our friends Nick and Cailin and their beautiful baby girl Sienna.  Liam and I went alone in October for Cailin's shower, and this time it was so nice to have daddy there too!  Sienna is so precious and it was so good to see Cailin as a mommy.  Being with Sienna made me realize just how much Liam has grown over the last few months.  Time really does fly!  I just want to soak up every possible moment.

At the airport for an early morning flight...6:15 AM!

So cool watching them turn the trolly's around

All warm and bundled up

They really enjoyed the trolly ride!

We went to the Monterey Bay Aquarium

Liam's first time seeing the ocean.  He was very intrigued!

Snackin and checkin out the waves.

"Look at the bubbles mom!"

Penguins are so cute

And Liam loved them!

He wanted to touch them so bad.

She's a daddy's girl

So pretty!

Checking out the pretty flight attendant

Just a few quick updates...Liam is officially on the move.  He started doing the "inch worm" before Christmas, but gradually he turned it into a real crawl.  I can't tell you when it officially happened because it was a slow process.  He would inch...then crawl...then inch...then crawl.  I guess he just realized that crawling is the way to go!  He's moving around so quickly and getting into everything!  His newest trick is giving kisses...sloppy open mouth kisses, but mommy loves them!  He's trying so hard to pull himself up to his feet.  He's growing up so fast!!!

  1. wow, sienna is beautiful. and the close-up of her in her daddy's arms? lovely. her profile reminds me of daisy's when she was tiny. can't believe how long it's been. holy bananas.
liam is getting so grown-up. i adore the stage when EVERYTHING is so fascinating! so much fun. through their eyes & experiences, makes it feel like you're getting to see things for the first time too. i love being a parent for reasons like that!
